WELCOME

You’re here because you’re ready for a change.

You’ve endured so much in life. A difficult childhood. Loss of loved ones. Confusing physical symptoms. Anxiety. Depression. Addiction. Toxic relationships.

You’ve read countless books and tried following the advice of self-help gurus, but it never seems to work for you. You’ve tried talk therapy, but the pain and isolation still lingers. You may have even seen doctors for the physical symptoms you’re experiencing, but you still don’t feel better.

It’s left you feeling exhausted, confused, and just plain stuck. Everyday is a challenge as you feel like you’re just going through the motions of life, without truly living.

If only you had a trusted guide who really understood you and what you’re going through, you could find the peace and wholeness you’re searching for.

It CAN be easier. And I can help.

I’d love to help you see what’s possible. I was trapped in a cycle of trauma until I learned to love all parts of myself and embrace my truth rather than trying to run from it. By healing the root cause of your suffering, you, too, have the power within you to be your own healer.

I’ll show you how.

Rachel Fisher, AAS, MSOM, L.Ac.

Boulder acupuncturist, somatic healer, and certified Chinese medicine practitioner

Hi! I’m Rachel, and I’m an experienced holistic health practitioner committed to helping women like you who have endured painful past circumstances or confusing health issues. Through my expansive toolkit of therapeutic techniques for the body, mind, and spirit, I guide you to lasting healing and wholeness so you can finally embrace the full version of who you were meant to be.

I became the trauma healer I always wished I had.

The truth is, your story probably sounds a lot like mine.

I’ve had more than my share of hardship in life. As a teen, I struggled profoundly wih an eating disorder, which left me with anxiety, chronic fatigue, and a damaged digestive system.

Desperate for help and healing, I ended up at the Kripalu Center at the age of 15. I learned about yoga, soulful bodywork, conscious eating, and meditation — and it changed the course of my life. Not only did these practices heal me, I’m convinced they saved my life

I learned that we are so much more than just our physical body; we have an energetic body as well. And I came to understand that the only way to have lasting healing was to address the mind, body and spirit.

I also had another revelation — I figured out exactly what was causing my pain, addictions, and physical symptoms — CPTSD (complex post-traumatic stress disorder) — and this realization changed everything.

Today, I help women overcome the shame of past trauma and embrace the fullness of their whole, beautiful selves.

I’ve spent the past 30 years helping women heal from trauma, while gaining more training in somatic and holistic healing practices from around the world.

I’ve seen the power of acupuncture and acupressure while working as an inpatient addiction counselor, treating patients from the boroughs of New York.

My clients were disadvantaged and traumatized, but I witnessed remarkable transformations when they were treated with AcuDetox — an evidence-based treatment for trauma, substance abuse, and related mental health conditions. I was amazed as I watched the most angry, uncomfortable, suffering people transform when they were treated.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve walked through tremendous loss and heartbreak including the death of my father, the death of my best friend from an aggressive cancer, and divorce.

Through these years of struggle, I found a healer trained in earth-centered shamanic medicine. The breakthroughs I had with this healing practice led me to study earth-centered healing arts in the Yucatec Maya Healing Tradition of Miss Beatrice Waight. And also led me to the discovery that earth-centered healing was available and accessible to all.

I also sought mentorship from a longtime teacher who treated me with IFS (Internal Family Systems psychotherapy) for 2 years. This work transformed my relationship with myself, my relationship with others, and my relationship with Spirit. Walking by my mentor’s side in these safe, intimate healing sessions was one of the most mystical and profound healing experiences of my life.

Rather than viewing myself as broken, I learned to have compassion for all the parts that showed up to protect me. I also discovered a working way to be human and finally felt a sense of peace and wholeness I had never experienced before.

These profound experiences are what inspired me to offer a safe, trusted space for other women to heal during their most vulnerable times. I now combine everything I’ve learned on my own journey in my Bloom Breakthrough Sessions. This beautiful blend of healing modalities allows me to help women heal on a far deeper level than I ever thought possible.

Somatic and holistic healing from trauma completely changed my life. And now I get to help others do the same.

In order to heal, you need a witness, a truth teller, a safe space holder, and a highly skilled guide to walk with you as you confront and heal your deepest wounds.

My decades of experience and midlife transition have given me the hard-earned wisdom of an elder. Over the years, I’ve helped thousands of women heal on all levels — spiritual, emotional, and physical — and become whole again.

I’d love to give you the tools to build the most important relationship of all — the one with yourself.
